The Combat Academy is more than a Martial Arts school. It is a community of positive and supportive people who seek to lift each other up, so that they may grow and succeed together. We make your goals our goals and utilize the challenges of the Martial Arts journey to help our members build confidence, strength, social skills and emotional resilience.

Since its inception, The Combat Academy has gone from strength to strength,developing champions not only in the sporting elements of Martial Arts but also in life through their exemplary work ethic, conduct and values.

What Is The Combat Academy Curriculum?
Our curriculum has been developed based on decades of Martial Arts Experience. We combine Traditional Martial Arts concepts with a modern approach to teaching meaning; we are able to build honour, character and respect while engaging students in fun high energy classes which ensure they learn, develop and grow while creating friendships and being part of a support network that aids their success.
Part of any good Martial Arts code involves seeking growth through challenge. We help students achieve this by undertaking gradings which help focus learning and break down their Martial Arts journey into manageable bite size chunks where students develop the right skills at the right time while enjoying the benefits of always having goals to work towards and always testing themselves to be the best they can be.
Enjoyment, Adventure & challenge
A key part of the learning journey for any student is growing through challenge. The Martial Arts Journey is filled with challenges throughout the various stages of development. These can be through belt testing at gradings, competition or through embarking on our Certified Instructor Training. Each students learning journey is different so learning opportunities are tailored to suit the needs and requirements of students.

Mick
Crossland
Mick is the former ICO World Super Middleweight kickboxing Champion and has over 30 years experience training in various martial arts including Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai & Karate.
Tommy
Crossland
Tommy is former British, European & World Amateur K1 Kickboxing Champion and is currently one of the Rising Stars of the UK’s Professional K1 Kickboxing scene.
Nathan
Hill
Nathan is one of our most beloved coaches. He is known for his enthusiasm and positive energy which helps create self-belief and confidence in all students who encounter him.
Gasan
Gindra
Gasan Gindra as he is affectionately known throughout the kickboxing world is one of the most recognised and exciting talents on the UK Kickboxing scene.
Callum
Cope
Callum is an active and highly successful K1 & Full Contact Kickboxing competitor. He is a hard working and committed young man who has dedicated his life to Martial Arts.
Owen
Deakin
Owen Deakin is a martial artist of the highest order with a host of accomplishments and a growing body of experience to his name. Owen has studied Martial Arts with The Combat Academy since 2013 and continues to learn, grow and improve his craft.
